Bees are in decline. Let's understand them. Help them. Protect our pollinators and their habitat, for now, and for the generations after us.

About

Our mission is to increase awareness of the importance of honeybees. We aim to establish a common platform for all to converse and learn about bees and beekeeping. We would also like to engage in sustainable beekeeping initiatives and activities.

Project

We have been involved in several initiatives over the last few years. We have fundraised, connected with experts, supported and engaged in sustainable beekeeping activities, and researched individual perception of bees.

Blog

Keeping in mind our agenda to spread the good word about bees, we have reached out to several experts to comment on their current research or initiatives. Let us know if you want us to connect with us and feature your work.

Donate

All funds from your donations will help support sustainable bee-related activities or informational events to spread awareness for our crucial pollinators.

Get Involved

We are always looking for volunteers to get involved in our various initiatives. Check out our current Mswakini Project, TAWIRI research collaborations, and informational events.

Harvesting Hope: Cultivating Self-Reliance in Tanzanian Villages

We are thrilled to share the incredible progress of our Mswakini Bee Project in Tanzania. After four years of dedicated collaboration with the Maasai community, the project has reached a significant milestone. The villagers have not only embraced beekeeping but have also taken complete ownership, managing the entire process independently from beekeeping to harvesting. This achievement is a testament to their determination and the impact of our shared efforts. The success in Mswakini has not gone unnoticed, inspiring neighboring villages to join our initiative and creating a positive ripple effect in the region.

This accomplishment wouldn't have been possible without your continuous support. Your belief in our vision has been the driving force behind our work, empowering us to foster self-reliance, environmental conservation, and sustainable livelihoods. As we celebrate this milestone, we're gearing up for the next chapter, aiming to expand our impact even further. Together, we're shaping a future where communities thrive, the environment flourishes, and positive change becomes a way of life. Thank you for being an integral part of this transformative journey.
